Good discussion last night at the meeting at Villa Bistro. Too bad about the end of half-price wine, though.
As Glen has previously informed us, the book for June is "Shrines of Gaiety" by Kate Atkinson, chosen by Carol. The meeting to discuss it will take place July 5.
I have selected the book for July. It is "Your Consent is Not Required" by Rob Wipond.
This CBC story about the convoy of "Queen of Canada" Romana Didulo arriving in Kamsack, Saskatchewan put me in mind of the Prophet and his followers in "Station Eleven."
