Hello all,
Well, with Premier Jason Kenney's announcement that Covid public health restrictions will be lifted on July, we are good to go for the July 7 meeting, at which we will discuss "Artemis." Glen has chosen Villa Bistro, 11520-100 Avenue, as the venue. We will be outside on the patio, weather permitting. Time 6 p.m.

This is to let you know that Carol has selected "Whisper Network," a 2019 novel by Chandler Baker, for the July book. It will be discussed at the August meeting, tentatively scheduled for Aug. 4.

Hello everyone,
Hope you have been enjoying Canada Day.
This is a reminder that the next book club meeting will take place Wednesday, July 7 at Villa Bistro, 11520-100 Avenue. We will be discussing "Artemis" by Andy Weir, the book chosen by Glen as the December 2020 read, and any other books people feel haven't received their due. The current Environment Canada forecast for Wednesday is a high of 27 degrees, with a mix of sun and cloud.
Another reminder: Carol has chosen the book for July, with the meeting to be held in August. It is "Whisper Network," a novel by Chandler Baker.
